25 Kent Ave Brooklyn, NY, 11211
A new banquet hall designed by Scarano Architect, PLLC, is coming soon to 25 Kent Avenue in Williamsburg.
This eight-floor building is a new construction situated on the waterfront in the desirable neighborhood of Williamsburg. Our firm began working on this project last January. We have been coordinating with the engineers (Mechanical, Sprinkler, Plumbing, Fire alarm, Fire suppression, and Structural) to approve the beautifully decorative ceiling. This ceiling is a baffle system, a structural configuration that controls the flow of gases or sound in a space. Baffles can direct the flow of air or liquids, and they can reduce turbulence in a flow. Baffles minimize noise pollution by capturing sound waves and reducing reverberations. The ceiling mimics the ocean waves.
In addition, we designed a 30-foot-long hood in the kitchen to extract hot air and supply it with fresh air.
This space will host 382 people plus workers. The hall was designed to host two events simultaneously, holding 407 people. The idea of adding a movable wall was integrated into the design process to allow the banquet room to be split into two spaces. This allowed two events to run simultaneously, maximizing business opportunities.
The smaller two spaces can host up to 112 people, while the main banquet hall, which boasts a view of New York City, can host up to 248 people.
We provided one dressing room that was accessible to the event’s organizers. One office and one conference room will be used to receive the clients and coordinate their events.
This banquet hall is sure to be a highly sought-after wedding and party venue in the trendy section of Williamsburg. Stay tuned for the grand opening by Scarano Architect, PLLC.
